Only part of all research funding of the universities is being increased following the steep increase in expenses caused by the current huge price inflation. In particular ongoing research projects and agreements are not following these increases. The growing expenses need to be covered with the budget that had originally been foreseen, and the research goals that were set out still need to be met without default.
This situation in certain circumstances has a risk for the employment and the research carreer of the researchers involved, e.g. when because of this funding is spent earlier than foreseen, or when the research activities cannot be continued in the way they had been planned.
Therefor ACOD launches a nation wide campaign for the Indexation of the Research Funds.
